Trouble Brewing for New Year... Bad Signs on the Second Day of 2008

by: Aaron D. Hancock

Well folks, I've been having crazy dreams and some horrible anxiety... real fear and loathing for this dreadful year of our lord 2008.  Yes I believe we may be in for a rough year... one of those "strap yourself in and hang on for dear life, we might not all make it" years where nothing whatsoever would seem unusual or out of place.  Think perhaps seeing your grandfather shooting at escaped monkeys from the zoo in his front yard crazy... something that would seem outrageously impossible in any other year, may just be the norm this year.  I can't even pin down all the reasons I've got this hunch of doom, but I'll give you a few... election year, crazy neo-con's still in power... but not for long so they're ansy, housing market in the crapper, general economy in the crapper, no manufacturing jobs... we don't make anything here anymore, police acting more and more like military, military becoming police overseas and in New Orleans, gun confiscation works in test case of New Orleans, lots of recent info on FEMA camps has come to light along with massive increases in the budget for said camps, assasination/instability in Pakistan, and this brings me to today's news...

Gold prices rocket amid geopolitical fears

Gold rises to new all-time high as US dollar wilts

And yes, as of a few minutes ago the stock market was down 186 some odd points, and oil cleared $100 a barrel so if you haven't already purchased gold or silver like I've been telling folks they need to... well it's just going to get worse for the failing dollar.  I started buying silver when it was $7 an ounce and today it cleared $15.  So if you haven't gotten rid of your failing fiat cash (most of it, clearly we need some to get by, but I'm meaning savings here) then see what you've missed?  Oh, and did I mention the theft of all of NORFED's gold, silver, and copper coins and unminted stock by the Federal government?  Once again, not a good sign.

I'm not saying you should freak out and panic.  Not yet, but just take some precautions so that you aren't left hanging out there in the breeze folks.  Oh, and if you've taken my advice and have a little silver or gold, some food, etc knocked back, by all means make sure you own a firearm and that it is in good working order... nothing scatters a raving mob of hungry (or greedy) neighbors like a few rounds from a 12 guage pump or a couple of well aimed rounds from a large caliber handgun.  Ho, ho!  That'll teach the bastards.  Selah.

I'll post more soon, and will update the website ASAP with lots of other juicy news.  Take care of yourselves.
