Stand Up
by Aaron D. Hancock
If Satan walked into the room
in a 3-piece suit, business attire, would you notice? What if he brought just a little wickedness and sin with him?
Perhaps a little lying, cheating or maybe some corporate theft, what
then? Would anyone notice?
What if he brought in some legal evil?
How about legalized torture? How
about renditioning and legal sexual torture of children to “extract”
information or confessions from their parents who may only be suspects, would
you care? After all, it is legal…
so we can’t say that’s wrong. What
does it take, how far do these people have to go before you people will stand up
for what is right? Does someone
have to torture your kids first? Is
that all? What about when they
implement their policies of forced drugging of all school children? How about forced vaccinations full of autism causing mercury
and cancer viruses for the youngest of our neighbors… the children?
Would that bother anyone? Didn’t
Jesus say we are to love our neighbors? Doesn’t
that include being concerned about their wellbeing?
What if our government openly attempts to merge our sovereign nation into
a North American Union, thereby dissolving our laws and Bill of Rights (the
rights contained therein are, after all, considered unalienable and given by the
Creator) and Constitution? If you
won’t stand up for what is right and for this country then I will.
I don’t care what you do anymore, because you have done nothing so far,
why should I or any other patriot think you will start?
You’ve let so much wickedness go without even the slightest hint of
holding anyone to account so where does that leave the world?
I do understand why you did nothing. I understand why you watched the wickedness and evil creep in while maybe grumbling to a few of your friends, but nothing more. It was easier to sit at home and watch TV. It was more fun to watch your bank account grow, to buy more stuff or to watch sports. It was simpler to accept the creeping tide of wickedness and evil but now it has turned into a torrent; a huge massive flood and you’re still doing nothing. God says he hates those who are lukewarm, and you are that at best. I was too for years, so I’m not trying to be hypocritical. As I grew up I began to see the evil and how no one cared or did anything against it, and I was baffled why people taught me about prophets and men and women of God who stood against evil, but yet those same people teaching me participated complacently in this worldwide scheme. I won’t have a part in this evil ruse anymore, suit yourself if you’d rather go back to your sports, investing, or other diversions, but I’ll do my best to not get distracted by the lure of the world. I see something better, something more important, and something which will make you feel alive as a person in this dead world in which we live. I see a change coming; a monumental shift of total perspective in the people. I can feel it as it churns and bubbles among those of us who are already awake to reality. I see the evidence of thousands and hundreds of thousands of people waking up to the realization that we have been lied to, we have been coddled by things and stuff by wicked men who push these things upon us by their control of our airwaves, and our internet.
Let me tell you what I want. I want some truth and justice and I want it the American way. Sure that means somebody’s going to get a bloody nose, and some of us might pay the ultimate price, but isn’t that what freedom is all about? If we are victorious (and we are no matter the outcome) then those who do evil will flee and hide from the light of righteous judgment because their actions are not only wicked, in many cases they are illegal. Haven’t Christians (and basically all others in human history) who have taken a stand against tyranny and oppression and wickedness been repressed and faced persecution? I’m fine with that, I’m willing to pay the price for a better future for those who come after me like those who founded this great nation. Born as an American, then born anew as a Christian I am not from cowardly stock. Those who came before me stood against oppression and evil and so I’ll stand, like the prophets of old, against those who proclaim righteousness while engaging in unspeakable sins and evil… all while basking in the guise of a fake superficial purity. I’ll stand, like John the baptizer who stood before his ruler, Herod, and told him he was willfully sinning and openly disobeying the Lord. I’ll stand, like Christ himself stood against the religious rulers of his time, against wicked men who pervert religion into a form of state sponsored government worship. Will you? That isn’t to say I, or any other, is perfect, God knows I’m far from it. But with His help we can fight against the wickedness and evil that pervades every aspect of our society.
“Who rises up for me against the wicked? Who stands up for me against evildoers?” Psalms 94:16 then in verses 20 and 21, “Can wicked rulers be allied with thee, who frame mischief by a statute? They band together against the life of the righteous, and condemn the innocent to death.” David understood how rare the righteous are, and how few make a stand against the wicked. Most people are like you and I were. We live our lives concerned primarily with ourselves, with our wellbeing in mind, and with little concern for mankind around us. We, however, cannot live like that if we wish to be pleasing to our Maker. We have a responsibility to care for and love those around us in the world… as Christ did, even if they are ignorant, wicked, and sinful. We can thank God that he sees humanity with such amazing love because we were once as they are now. If we do not stand… against evil, against wickedness, and against those who push their wicked plans upon our land, the world, and our neighbors and friends, then have we not failed our God and his Son, the Savior of mankind?
Everyone who gave their lives to Christ signed up to do something, not to sit around talking about how we’re all going to heaven and patting ourselves on the back living quietly apart from the world while our neighbors and friends are led into bondage and suffering. We are to confront the wickedness and evil, just as all examples of righteous men and women in the Scriptures did. You must understand that we aren’t being persecuted today because we aren’t doing anything today! We have a God given responsibility to fight against evil, especially evil in places of power and those who hide the nakedness of their sin and evil under a false cloak of righteousness. If we do not, we risk the anger of our Creator who will not care how large our house was (although he might be upset about the debt we acquired buying more than we needed), or our accolades or degrees, but rather, who will care how large our retirement funds were as we built our “bigger barns” to house our wealth, as we relied on our government, companies, and an insurance scam to take care of us rather than God our Father who gives all good things, who will care that we believed in our government and officials without question as they claimed righteousness while openly participating in perversion, greed, lust for power, and extreme wickedness, who will care that we were willing to go along with dehumanization policies that seek to make man like the beasts of the field… a mere commodity to simply be used and then tossed aside as the United Nations says humans are openly just cattle in documents. We are not simply a commodity, we have souls. We are eternal beings who have been given a responsibility to be the salt of the earth. If we continue on our current path, I know that we will not be pleased with where it leads us as our final destination nears closer by each day.
