Asheville Residents Arrested on Flag-defiling Charge ( www.citizen-times.com ) - (Scroll down on the page once you link there for the story). Well, apparently it would have been OK if they hadn't affixed signs explaining why the flag was being flown upside down as a sign of distress for our nation.
Local "Evacuees" to be Housed at FEMA Center at Weddington High School - Well isn't this interesting... stands to reason that this would be used in case of other "emergencies" as well. Weddington High School it seems is not just a government training facility, but also a FEMA Camp.
